The Marketing Content Senior Specialist is responsible for independently creating engagement content to use across marketing channels and digital platforms. This role is responsible for creating, executing, and measuring content to use on Uponor websites, email marketing campaigns, social media channels, digital advertising, print materials, tradeshows, blogs and landing pages. The role includes writing, optimizing content for search, adding metadata and implementing best practice digital marketing strategies.

This role will gather and leverage existing content, partner with Digital Marketing team members to develop measurement dashboards, track results, and upload content to CMS and Showpad sales enablement tool. This role will strategically partner across the organization to create content that is accurate, aligns with organizational strategy, and increases brand visibility and customer advocacy.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Models our Uponor values and behaviors and demonstrates peer leadership to engage diverse audiences through effective collaboration and influence. 
  • In conjunction with leadership, provides input on individual performance objectives that are aligned with the functional and business strategy.

Activities of the Position:

Activities Performed -

Plan, write and create impactful content for use across Engagement Marketing channels and digital platforms, including websites, email marketing campaigns, social media, digital advertising, blogs, print materials, tradeshow booths and landing pages. Optimize content for search, add metadata, implement best practice digital marketing strategies and adhere to brand and digital guidelines.

Partner with members of the Engagement Marketing team, greater Marketing team, cross-functionally across the organization, as well with key outside agencies to develop content that supports engagement strategies. Conduct content audits, partner with digital team members to develop reporting dashboards and use analytics to inform content strategies and track results.

Develop and maintain the online user experience as it relates to content. Partner with digital team to update content within CMS and Showpad sales enablement tool.

Work cross-functionally or with other workgroups to ensure collaboration on shared goals.

Seek out opportunities to contribute to the business success through proactive involvement in team initiatives.

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Creative Writing, English, Marketing or equivalent degree. 
  • 3-5 years of related writing or content experience required. 
  • Knowledge of AP writing style, SEO/SEM, and monitoring tool preferred. 
  • Prior experience in Writing, Editing, Communications, Social Media, Marketing or similar is required. 
  • Meticulous attention to detail with outstanding proofreading and editing skills. 
  • Must use an effective and approachable communication style to engage others and build credibility and rapport. 
  • Must be self-starter, goal oriented and take initiative to achieve objectives. 
  • Must be a strong team player with the ability to receive and accurately incorporate feedback from multiple individuals.
