Graphics Systems (GSC) is looking for a creative thinker and research-driven writer with a skill for capturing attention and motivating action. You’ll be the voice of GSC and your work will inspire and educate companies on how to leverage 3D engineering technology to advance manufacturing, drive innovation, and fuel new product development. With topics ranging from how manufacturers are benefiting from 3D printing to interviewing company executives about innovation, our customers will be anxiously waiting to consume your next piece of content! Graphics Systems is evolving its brand and your work will make us become known as the industry-leading experts that we are. You’ll create high-value, insightful, inspiring content that makes GSC a ‘go-to’ resource for clients, prospects, and news sources across the industries we serve. You’ll also directly impact our success by assisting lead generation efforts with highly relevant, SEO-savvy content that raises our visibility to key industries and prospects. Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Author, curate, and edit whitepapers, articles, case studies, infographics, scripts, and eBooks that align with our brand strategy and our content marketing objectives.
  • Monitor industry blogs and other publications to identify relevant news and timely topics of interest. Interview industry thought leaders, internal experts, clients/partners, and influencers to uncover unique stories that support our brand and content strategy.
  • Create SEO-savvy content that raises our visibility to key industries and prospects.
  • Partner with the marketing team to curate and author content for all marketing and product collateral including brochures, flyers, emails, catalogs, and programs.
  • Author, edit and manage all content for the company blog.
  • Author press releases and articles for company newsletters.
  • Assist the marketing team with creating new campaigns and products.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills, which includes: ability to break down complex ideas into simple concepts while telling a concise yet compelling story.
  • Can craft headlines, subject lines, and calls-to-action that capture attention and motivate action. Understand the fundamental principles of inbound marketing.
  • Can get into the mindset of our target audiences and understand what drives them to make decisions.
  • Detail-oriented, with high standards for quality, relevance, and consistency of content.
  • Passion for interactive marketing (email, mobile, social & web) and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
  • High performing self-starter, with proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong problem solver, blending creative and analytical skills. 
  • Education and Experience
  • 3+ years of marketing, event planning, and design experience Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in journalism, English, communications, or marketing
