The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for creating, writing, and executing a content strategy designed to drive traffic, engagement, and leads that ultimately increase demand for Industrial Motors and generator’s products and services. The Marketing Coordinator will also be responsible for ensuring content consistency and quality, tone of voice, and style, and is appropriately communicating the Marathon® and LEESON® brands across digital and print channels. Further, the Marketing Coordinator will assist the Marketing Manager in all the marketing activities.

  • Responsible for researching, authoring, and copywriting Industrial Motors and generator’s content portfolio including print and digital marketing communications, product brochures & catalogs, collateral material, customer presentations, white papers, newsletters, advertising creative, presentations, video scripts, email campaigns, and blog posts. 
  • Ensures brand consistency across the content portfolio. 
  • Work with sales and marketing leadership to identify business needs, and the most appropriate methods and mediums for distributing digital and print media content to employees, customers, and prospects. 
  • Gather technical information through research and subject matter expert interviews to develop messaging and positioning of the company’s products and services. 
  • Assist in managing trade shows and events execution to ensure an engaging presence at key annual shows. 
  • Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, video clips, etc.) 
  • Direct and oversee graphic design and layout of content and other creative

Required Education / Experience / Skills:

  • Bachelor ‘s degree in Marketing or equivalent related experience. 
  • 2 - 5 years of content or Marketing Experience. 
  • Extensive knowledge of digital communications channels, and SEO positioning. 
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite), and applications (Web analytics, WordPress, etc.) 
  • Experience working with and managing outside agencies, graphic designers, photographers/videographers 
  • Creativity - must demonstrate high levels of creativity, flexibility, and problem-solving facility 
  • Ability to manage projects from inception through implementation and communicate progress throughout the process. 
  • Be able and willing to demonstrate excellent organizational skills
