The JSG Marketing Coordinator Intern will partner with the marketing staff to support and empower the business objectives of JSG and it’s business unit brands while growing revenue and fostering a great brand and marketing experience. The Marketing Coordinator Intern will support all areas of function within the marketing department to generate new leads and customers while also increasing awareness and preference for our brands among our customers and the industries we serve. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

  • Voice of Market: Gathering, reviewing, and acting upon sales trends and consumers' critical feedback is essential to drive revenue with new opportunities by developing marketing campaigns based on market trends
  • Brand Experience: Fostering an environment of positivity, focus, and alignment is of the utmost importance for the health of the employees, customers, and overall business.
  • Operating Procedures: Developing, documenting, organizing, and deploying standard operating procedures is critical for employee alignment, maximum effectiveness, and optimal project efficiency.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Develop effective Category, Product, Vertical, Niche Topic Lead Generation, Nurture and Sales, and Brand Awareness marketing campaigns to drive revenue growth.
  • Metrics Actions: Tracking, analyzing, reporting, and acting upon data and metrics to improve the results and advance the department towards pre-determined goals is vital to the business's success.

Requirements:

  • Must be a current Junior or Senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 10-week commitment
  • Willing to travel to Deerfield, IL or other location for Intern Training Week
  • Deliver a comprehensive presentation to management and executives at the end of the summer.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in traditional and modern marketing strategies
  • Fundamental knowledge of Web, E-Commerce, and SEO required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Punctual, dependable, self-motivated, and self-directed
  • Ability to take direction and work well with others
  • Ability to prioritize, manage, and focus time on the 20% of activities that will drive 80% of the results Additional Activities and Expectations
