Responsible for providing marketing coordination, project management and execution support for Marketing Managers as assigned. Key focuses include loyalty programs, store communication, existing and emerging digital programs, and grocery alliance partnerships.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR MARKETING COORDINATOR:

  • Loyalty program management, including offer set up, troubleshooting, store communication and signage management 
  • Store communication and sign installation instruction communication for store and field teams 
  • Social Media point for daily monitoring and content posting 
  • SMS/Email management including offer set up and creative development 
  • Grocery alliance partnership support, including creative project management, signage distribution and promotional project management 
  • Support local fundraising partnerships and programs 
  • Ensure the accuracy, quality and timeliness of various marketing and advertising programs in support of Marketing Managers. 
  • Assist with centralized coordination of resources and communications associated with various marketing and advertising programs in support of other internal and external constituents. 
  • Coordination and scheduling of meetings; create agendas and meeting materials as needed, document meeting outcomes and follow through on action items as assigned. 
  • Support additional marketing programs, initiatives, special events and projects as needed.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong organizational, planning and project management skills, able to handle multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously in “retail time”

  • Ability to work with team members and other internal constituents to ensure project status and expectations are communicated and fulfilled
  • Outstanding time management and prioritization skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment

Must be a quick learner and curious, looking to solve problems

Willing team player with an energetic, upbeat personality and a strong sense of urgency

Strong persuasive, negotiation and presentation skills, both written and verbal

Keen observational and analytical skills, able to identify issues and areas for improvement

Excellent problem solving abilities

Highly self-motivated; Must be able to take initiative to drive processes and projects forward to completion without prompting

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, with the ability to assist with evaluating technology solutions related to process improvement

Experience with emerging technology and digital marketing

REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-4 years experience providing support in a marketing department or advertising agency 
  • 4 year degree in marketing or related field
