Digital marketer with demonstrated experience in video production, graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite) and social media management. Emphasis on short-form video/photo storytelling with audio capture using a DSLR camera; pre-press design and layout; cross-platform, professional social media engagement; web content management.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for design and delivery of Goodwill Industries of South Central Wisconsin’s brand through visual identity, graphic design and all digital channels. 
  • Generate digital content (video, social, email) to promote Goodwill SCWI stores, programs and news. 
  • Maintain and update brand look and feel for use across all applications, digital and analog, across all Goodwill SCWI physical and online properties. Includes brand standards, graphic design, style and layout for all internal and external communications as well as public and employee workspaces. 
  • Schedule and manage b-to-c and b-to-b messaging via multiple social channels. 
  • Monitor social media community activity, interests and feedback to increase brand reach and engagement frequency. 
  • Oversee web content for brand presentation, accuracy and use of current technology. 
  • Assist with development of the annual departmental calendar, based on organizational goals, marketing trends and opportunities for brand delivery. 
  • Cross-team collaboration for internal communications and service to internal clients. 
  • Research trends and best practices in online communities; network with industry peers and leaders to leverage digital tools to further customer engagement. 
  • Recommend and apply relevant digital media techniques, processes, apps, sites and tools to improve overall communication results and experiences. 
  • Create, edit and catalog all digital assets: photo, video, graphic, marketing collateral, audio, etc. 
  • Tracks and measures performance for social media initiatives. Analyzes results and provides suggestions for improvements. 
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by VP of Mission and Brand Development.

Requirements Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Social Media, Communications or related field or equivalent education and experience. 
  • 2-4 years current experience in graphic design, social marketing, web and online community. 
  • Technical requirements: 
  • DSLR photography, videography with audio capture and post-production editing 
  • Current experience with Adobe Premier Pro and Creative Suite, including pre-press design and file preparation 
  • Technical understanding and experience managing professional social media accounts 
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress (or similar, current CMS products) 
  • Large-format file management (RAW, 4K) 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. 
  • Understanding of marketing and public relations principles to promote Goodwill’s mission and brand-related initiatives. 
  • Competency with Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Access to auto, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
