We are seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our growing marketing team. This new position offers an exciting opportunity to make the position your own! Full benefits and competitive salary accompany this role!

Primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Create and execute on advertising and marketing plans for The Glenn Senior Communities
  • Develop and coordinate marketing collateral 
  • Organize and maintain all print and digital content assets so they are secure, readily accessible and updateable 
  • Manage and/or execute strategic plans and projects end to end 
  • Create, manage and track advertising and marketing budgets 
  • Assess effectiveness of advertising activities/investments 
  • Maintain relationships with institutional, non-profit and high net worth clients by presenting initial and ongoing reports related to marketing and advertising strategies and budgets 
  • Maintain database of all relevant advertising mediums, vendors and cost information for each medium. 
  • Maintain relationships with vendors in each market for each community. 
  • Research local market to determine optimal advertising mediums and strategies 
  • Generate content for community websites. Also responsible for continual updates and enhancements via G5 analytics and dashboard. 
  • Proactively identify new strategies, outlets and partnerships to continuously evolve the advertising strategies 
  • Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently 
  • Execute online strategies and tactics, including SEO, PPC, Google and other online advertising, display marketing and landing pages, as well as other digital tactics such as content generation, video, social media and email marketing to drive brand identity and program awareness, leads and inquiries, traffic and recruitment
  • Develop and maintain effective analytic criteria and metrics for all marketing and advertising activity. Track and communicate marketing analytics and performance and provide recommendations to continually improve and grow presence and impact. 
  • Graphic design, photography, writing and copy editing as needed. 
  • Demonstrate understanding of role/intent of marketing vehicles and how plans support broader business objectives. 
  • Provide short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data. 
  • Provide marketing information by answering questions and requests. 
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. 
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. 
  • Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s marketing movements 
  • Control budgets and allocate resources amongst projects 
  • Become the organization’s agent towards external parties such as media, stakeholders and potential clients and build strategic partnerships

Qualified candidates will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration or related field preferred 
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, marketing, advertising and brand management 
  • Knowledge and experience with media placement and graphic design concepts as they relate to advertising and publicity 
  • Proficient using Microsoft Suite, most importantly Excel 
  • Strong understanding of and the ability to effectively utilize existing and emerging web and social media platforms and tactics 
  • Skills in InDesign or Photoshop, along with competency in other Adobe Creative Suite applications a plus 
  • Proven dynamic leadership and project management skills 
  • Fast learner who takes initiative to see it, own it, solve it, do it 
  • Adept multi-tasker with ability to quickly prioritize 
  • Strategic, innovative and creative personality with a strong business acumen 
  • A passion for working in and managing a fast-paced, collaborative environment 
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written. 
  • Must have the ability to form trusting relationships one on one with clients
