GROTH Design Group, an architecture and interior design firm, is growing and we are seeking an energetic team-player to join the Marketing team part-time. This role supports the Marketing Director and other staff in our fast-paced business development and marketing department. Responsibilities include production of proposal documents, creation of social media content and posting, coordination with team members to design and produce collateral materials, and coordination and production of graphics, presentations and video. The Marketing Coordinator must possess excellent graphic design capabilities and above-average communication and organizational skills.

Position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Business Development Efforts:

  • Manage proposal development (InDesign) and process including page layout, writing, organization of internal team members and adherence to deadlines
  • Work collaboratively to develop proposal messaging and key differentiators 
  • Support business development team in preparing for client interviews, such as creating presentations and designing supporting interview collateral materials
  • Utilize and update information within the customer relations database (Deltek)

External Marketing Communications:

  • Manage Social Media: Create rhythmic social media campaigns positioning GDG as a leader in the industry
  • Aid in developing key messages that contribute to the establishment of GDG as a consistent knowledgeable leader in the industry
  • Support the development of key messages that resonate with clients
  • Draft press releases for distribution to local media
  • Develop and produce marketing collateral to promote GDG, its culture and growth initiatives
  • Coordinate with clients, team members and vendors to design and produce marketing collateral
  • Offer innovative and creative approaches to disseminating company messages
  • Conferences/tradeshows: registration, design of booth space, development of literature and ability to successfully manage and coordinate multiple conferences throughout the year
  • Research industry trends

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong graphic design abilities - Excellent proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop (Adobe Creative Suite) and Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Team oriented, constructive, positive and respectful attitude with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with acute attention to detail
  • Ability to think both creatively and strategically 
  • Ability to set up and operate audiovisual equipment for trainings, presentations, meeting and conferences
  • Occasionally this position may require travel to various jobsites, client events, groundbreakings, grand openings and other activities before, during and after normal business hours and works with all levels of management and clients.

Preferred candidates will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, with at least five years of experience
  • Marketing experience within Architecture, Construction, Engineering, or Commercial Real Estate Development preferred 
  • Familiarity with industry award submittal process a plus 
  • Experience in proposal and interview preparation in response to request for proposal (RFP)
