We are seeking a marketing assistant for our marketing team to support the Minnesota/Wisconsin area in the North Central region power and energy market. This individual will work out of our local office.

You approach problems from a critical-thinking and solution-oriented lens, especially when that comes to data integrity and supporting deadlines.

In the role of Marketing Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

  • Assist with marketing efforts for the area, working closely with the marketing team, business development leads, project managers, and technical staff, under guidance from the area marketing lead 
  • Aid in proposal development, crafting statements of qualifications, and formatting presentations 
  • Support client development teams with marketing activity planning, research, and data management 
  • Update and maintain our data marketing systems, with a strong focus on project descriptions, staff resume information, forecasting details, and filling in existing gaps 
  • Distill and shape information into an on-brand voice for written content 
  • Prepare and administer relevant reports 
  • Coordinate conference attendance/sponsorship and other events 
  • Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • An associate’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, or other closely related field—or a combination of education and relevant experience 
  • Exceptional organizational and research skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines, both independently and as part of a team 
  • A team-oriented mentality 
  • Strong data entry abilities 
  • Writing/editing acumen 
  • Communication (both written and verbal) and collaboration skills 
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel 
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Adobe Creative Cloud competency, preferred (emphasis on InDesign) 
  • An understanding of the A/E/C industry, preferred 
  • Preference given to local candidates
