Heritage Homes has an exciting new opportunity for a full-time Marketing Coordinator to assist with the execution of marketing initiatives and campaigns!  If you are someone who thrives on making a difference, consider joining our team!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIIES:

  • Promote the Christian mission of The Lutheran Home Association in all areas of marketing and publicity campaign and materials.
  • Execute short-term and long-range action plans to meet the needs of Heritage Homes.
  • Enhance the structure, processes, and timelines necessary to manage specific activities and their projected goals.
  • Conduct outreach to hospitals, physicians, discharge planners and the community in general to assist with census development.
  • Build and maintain a positive relationship with the business and health care community.
  • Participate in the coordination of public relations activities and represent TLHA to increase public awareness of The Lutheran Home Association and Heritage Homes’ programs and services.
  • Become involved in the community by joining civic groups.
  • Build and maintain an active prospect list.
  • Team up with the Administrator to conduct tours with residents and family members.
  • Maintain communications through letters, emails and telephone calls as appropriate.
  • In coordination with the corporate Director of Marketing and Communications, coordinate and implement marketing plans and initiatives incorporating community divisions and service area markets.
  • Create and distribute press releases and relevant information to area media contacts, as well as contacts throughout the community.
  • Schedule, promote and maintain positive working relationships with media representatives.
  • Coordinate media coverage of campus events.
  • Set up photographic sessions; manage photo portfolio and archives for Heritage Homes.
  • Represent Heritage Homes at various trade shows and other events.
  • Execute/coordinate marketing methods to promote TLHA and Heritage Homes.
  • Coordinate with the corporate Director of Marketing and Communications on the production of printed materials to promote the Campus and inform its constituents in promotional and admissions materials, area event programs, fundraising activities, etc.
  • Oversee, design, and publish a campus and community newsletter publication.
  • Develop DVDs, PowerPoint presentations and other media.
  • Assist with design and content of front entry monitors and entry displays.
  • Build community connections and awareness, promoting volunteer opportunities.
  • Serve as liaison between Heritage Homes, the public and private sectors of the community and the media for communication, public information and promotional purposes.
  • Serve as a speaker, presenter and moderator at public functions as necessary.
  • Participate in the coordination of public relations activities to increase public awareness of the campuses’ programs and services.
  • Develop activities/seminars on campus with internal and external contacts to build potential prospect base and enhance community image.
  • In coordination with the corporate Director of Marketing & Communications, campus administrator(s) and assigned TLHA leadership, handle crisis management situations exercising sound judgment and confidence.
  • Utilize knowledge of problem-solving techniques and determine most appropriate course of action.
  • Seek the cooperation, participation, and support of the pastoral and congregational leadership of WELS/ELS congregations in Watertown, WI and surrounding areas.
  • Act as an ambassador of TLHA through representation at TLHA, WELS/ELS and community events to generate and increase support of our ministry and programs.
  • Encourage TLHA congregations to take an active role in providing spiritual and financial help for TLHA.
  • Assess the marketing and brand identity needs of all campus programs, services and operating units.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of three years marketing and sales experience and a thorough understanding of healthcare and senior markets required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or board of directors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY:

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to meet the scheduling requirements of the position including, but not limited to, work overtime as necessary, travel 50%-60% of time, posses a valid driver’s license and safe driving record to meet The Lutheran Home Association’s insurability requirement.
  • Understanding and high respect for Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod and Evangelical Lutheran Synod doctrine and practice and their ecclesiastical structure..
