Marketing Coordinator

About HGA Architects & Engineers

HGA is a 700+ person, award winning architecture, engineering and planning firm with eight (8) locations across the United States. Our practice group in Milwaukee is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented and experienced marketing coordinator to join its team. This position primarily supports the Energy and Infrastructure segments and collaborates with other marketing coordinators to produce high-level proposals and collateral.

Position Overview

We are looking for an individual with a demonstrated ability to identify, integrate and translate information from multiple sources into a creative, compelling, client-focused story. The Marketing Coordinator manages the creation and preparation of proposals, presentations and marketing collateral in support of regional business development. The successful candidate is committed to working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

PREFERRED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE

• Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications or related field preferred
• Experience with RFQ/RFP and interview preparation process (knowledge of architectural and/or engineering fields a plus)
• Excellent copywriting/editing skills and attention to detail
• Top notch organizational, prioritization, problem-solving, multi-tasking and decision-making skills
• Strong graphic design abilities and proficient use of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and remain cool under pressure
• A team player showing initiative and ownership of his/her areas of responsibility
• Knowledge of Deltek Vision and Constant Contact a plus, but not required

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partners with senior leadership and business developers to create and produce high-quality proposals, including writing, layout, printing, binding, distribution and delivery
• Creates and coordinates other marketing collateral including presentations, brochures, eblasts, award submittals, project case studies, and staff resumes
• Communicates and builds internal and external relationships to ensure proposal input is accurate, compelling and timely
• Assists with the preparation of conferences and industry events
• Collaborates with firm wide marketing coordinators to strategize on marketing initiatives, and knowledge sharing/best practices.
