The things that you will tackle:

The Marketing Coordinator will develop and execute marketing campaigns in support of our audience engagement strategies and event portfolio as well as other key enterprise marketing initiatives. You will also manage a marketing calendar and execute campaigns; facilitate the development of marketing content and materials; and serve as a liaison between event, enterprise and other HIMSS marketing teams. This position supports our key goals around event attendee acquisition, audience engagement, and sponsor lead-generation.

The things that you will tackle:

  • Manages the event marketing calendar to ensure marketing tactics are executed effectively and on time. Traffics marketing collateral within team and with external stakeholders, where needed. 
  • Implements multi-channel promotional campaigns designed to convert audience to event attendance. Collaborates with enterprise marketing teams to execute. 
  • Implements multi-channel promotional campaigns designed to nurture and convert audiences in support of enterprise goals. Collaborates with other marketing teams to execute. 
  • Reviews and analyzes marketing campaign results and makes recommendations for improving results in future campaigns. 
  • Supports data analysis with KPI reports around event website, promotional email response, digital event platform, etc. 
  • Creates and/or edits content and copy for marketing campaigns. Includes writing or editing copy as well as image selection. 
  • Works collaboratively with event and EMC marketing team to brainstorm customer segmentation and dynamic messaging strategies of communications. 
  • Creates and coordinates the development of sponsor lead generation forms, landing pages. 
  • Monitors and reports results of inbound and outbound sponsor activities in support of revenue. 
  • Develops routine process managing marketing calendar and communicating status to stakeholders. 
  • Coordinates strategic partner deliverables. 
  • Travels occasionally to assigned in-person events.

What you will need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field. 
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience of direct, email and online marketing in a B2B environment. 
  • Excellent attention to detail. 
  • Experience with marketing automation software, knowledge of html a plus. 
  • Open-minded, progressive thinker and good listener who is comfortable engaging fellow employees. 
  • Works well with key stakeholders on cross-functional teams. 
  • Excellent time management skills against tight deadlines, with the ability to multitask multiple projects and shifting priorities. 
  • Knowledgeable about the Healthcare IT market is a plus, understanding how the product and technology fit into the overall industry.
