JP Cullen is looking for our next team member to bring their graphic design, writing, marketing and strategy skills to a leading marketing and business development team. This experienced marketer will focus on marketing efforts and strategy to fulfill our mission statement (identify, hire, train and retain the best people to serve our customers) and working with the team to secure new business. The Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Marketing Director and will primarily work in the Janesville

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Own the end-to-end process and execution forcontent development and document production for materialincluding: graphic design, employee recruitment collateral and presentations, training and development presentations, RFQ/P responses, brochures, presentations, project information, staff resumes, award submissions, blogs, and other marketing collateral.
  2. Lead development, coordination and execution of industry events, conferences, career fairs and project photo shoots. Also attend the conferences and events as needed.
  3. Assist in the development and manage execution of the marketing plans, ensuring that the strategy and tactics align with the overall team and company strategic plan.
  4. Participate in the identification and execution of marketing and business development strategiesfor potential opportunities, following JP Cullen's sales process.
  5. Participate in and support marketing/business development strategies forcurrent and past clients.
  6. Promote visibility of JP Cullen through PR and participation in industry sponsored events and awards.
  7. Contribute content to corporate content marketing and channels.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Research our markets, opportunitiesand competitorsand share the information accordingly.
  2. Develop/Maintain expertise in our marketsto create value for our customers and to learn where markets are headed. Can be accomplished through participation in industry organizations, regularly consuming trade publications and other media on the market, attaining a certification and building your network with other experts in that market, etc.
  3. Maintain expertise in marketing to "see around the corner" for what is next in A/E/C marketing through industry organization participation, regular reading/listening/watching of industry trends, engaging with network, etc.
  4. Support development and maintenance of applications and software.
  5. Learn JP Cullen operations and business to provide more value to our customers throughjobsite visits, Cullen College offerings and other training and mentoring opportunities offered.
  • Ideal candidate will have at least a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications and/or Business Management.
  • Two plus years of experience in marketing for the AEC industry or business to business marketing and business development.
  • Two plus years of graphic design experience, specifically with the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Organization, project and time management skills and the ability to prioritize work based on business needs.
  • Works independently and as a team towards a common goal.
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing plans.
  • Complete tasks with minimal direction.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills a must.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy a must.
  • Working knowledge of graphics and print media.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
