In your role as a Marketing Coordinator, you will be an excellent communicator, creative, and collaborative while working independently and as a valuable team member. You will be committed to upholding the highest professional work standards, confidentiality, and ethics with a positive can-do attitude while working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. You will use your knowledge of marketing theory and concepts to effectively communicate Knutson’s services and competitive advantages.

The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages, in coordination with project teams, the RFP response process and timeline for negotiated opportunities without supervision. 
  • Oversees and/or gathers information needed to be responsive to negotiated opportunities, ensures content is tailored to the client and the project. 
  • Works to ensure brand guidelines are appropriately and consistently applied throughout Knutson. 
  • Maintain editorial control on all marketing and public relations collateral released on Knutson's behalf. 
  • Communicates and models the vision and values of the organization to create a sense of teamwork among employees. 
  • Works collaboratively with Marketing team members delivering inspired service for all Knutson Construction employees and departments while assuring our external customers experience our purpose and values 
  • Ability to generate unique ideas, concepts, images, and written content for use across all approved platforms 
  • Learn key processes such as RFP, RFQ, newsletter creation, and social media guidelines to assist with functional marketing activities 
  • Conducts special project research to support Marketing team with the purpose of learning and mastering internal processes 
  • Provides marketing support to all Knutson Construction departments and locations 
  • Assists with coordination of and planning for trade shows and events (internal and external) including messaging, reinforcement of corporate values, and the development of collateral materials. 
  • Respond to and complete all other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:

  • Associates degree or experience in related field or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge is also considered 
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Marketing Coordinator 
  • At least 1 year of experience in Graphic Design

Preferred Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience as a Marketing Coordinator specific to Construction Industry 
  • 1+ years of experience in Graphic Design – Specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign 
  • Experience with Office 365 or similar
