LaForce is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing Department! LaForce is a leader in the door, frame and hardware industry servicing the growing field of commercial construction.

The Marketing Coordinator will create and execute all internal and external communications, corporate events, and other promotional materials.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Develop content and maintain consistency throughout all communications including: press releases, media relations content, blog posts, direct mail campaigns, case studies, bios, corporate newsletters and emails, social media content, event communications, website content, sales materials, video scripts, presentations, tradeshow materials, and speaking proposals. 
  • Plan and coordinate tradeshow and conference participation 
  • Define and execute a Social Media strategy including managing the content calendar and analytics. 
  • Plan and coordinate various corporate events including: golf outings, picnics, tailgates, and holiday parties. 
  • Identify potential market segments for mailings by working with sales teams. 
  • Work with Volunteer Committee to promote volunteer events throughout the year.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related discipline and 1-3 years media relations experience with demonstrated proficiency with public relations practices 
  • Excellent verbal, listening, grammar, and proofreading skills 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust to inevitable changes in timelines, deadlines and project goals 
  • Graphic design skills are preferred 
  • Proactive, outgoing, positive and professional personality 
  • Be able to work as a team member in a creative group environment but also to work solo and self-driven, as necessary 
  • Knowledge of various Social Media Platforms, MS Word and MS Excel 
  • Must present 2-3 writing samples that demonstrate strong copywriting skills
