The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Senior Marketing Specialists in various roles plus the larger Marketing Communication team. This position will assist primarily in the development and execution of tradeshows; secondary; communication planning, content updates (digital and print), marketing and promotion using email and social media including measurement and reporting (KPI’s). This position reports to the Marketing Communications Manager.

This individual will have experience with project management, vendor interaction and good organizational skills. Focus of this role is supporting business strategies and marketing initiatives that drive revenue for the division.

Responsibilities:

  • Tradeshow registration and participation, booth set-up, event management while working with our trade show vendor. 
  • Assist in managing our trade show vendor’s inventory system. 
  • Work with the Industrial Business Unit marketing communication team to oversee development, production, and execution of projects to meet business needs. 
  • Content updates to existing materials: ppt, brochures, flyers, etc. Tradeshow messaging and promotional plans to attract attendees. 
  • Update content according to content governance on digital platforms (HubSpot, Webdam, Print on Demand, etc.) 
  • Create email campaigns and distributor newsletter. Manage email calendar, list management, scheduling, and deployment, plus reporting for email marketing campaigns. 
  • Track monthly KPI analytics and success metrics for projects and campaigns. 
  • Prepare materials for presentations for projects as needed.

Experience and Competency Requirements:

  • Experience in the electrical or related technical industry in a marketing role. 
  • Bachelor’s degree required - Advertising, Marketing, Communications focus preferred. 
  • Experience working across communication channels (digital, social, email, print, etc.). 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. 
  • High attention to detail. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders. 
  • Experience working with internal and external partners and agencies to move projects from concept to completion. 
  • HubSpot or similar email marketing platform. 
  • WebDAM or digital asset management platform, a plus. 
  • Strong people skills: ability to listen and adapt to varying team audiences. 
  • Experience working in highly matrixed organizations. 
  • Travel up to 25%.
