The Marketing Coordinator will work within the marketing department of MC Machinery Systems, Inc. This position reports directly to the Marketing Manager. The Marketing Coordinator must have good insight to a strategic marketing approach and will be responsible for interacting with customers, dealers, and other department group leaders. This person will also be involved in the coordination of tradeshow planning and execution.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Executing various marketing projects as appointed by the marketing manager. 
  • Designing, writing, and managing the company’s internal and external communications. 
  • Working with and supporting the company’s external marketing agency on direction for project work, strategy, social media, and research. 
  • Being an integral part of the online management of the company website. 
  • Taking ownership of the company’s marketing automation program/email campaigns. 
  • Co-owning and managing the company dealer portal. 
  • Assist in managing tradeshows and private events. 
  • Coordinating customer/ABM projects. 
  • Coordinating regional marketing activities with dealers and sales staff. 
  • Working closely with the graphic designer to coordinate projects and timelines. 
  • Other duties, as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Intermediate proficiency in full Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) 
  • Graphic design experience 
  • Website CMS Experience preferred, but not required 
  • Marketing Automation software experience preferred, but not required 
  • Proficiency in database sourcing, management 
  • Knowledge in Google and Microsoft PPC programs 
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Positive attitude, motivation, and determination to succeed 
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment and multitask effectively 
  • Travel required up to 15% of the time

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-5 years of marketing experience 
  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred, but not required 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or journalism
