Marketing Coordinator
Southeast Wisconsin
Milwaukee, WI

As a Marketing Coordinator, your primary responsibility is the implementation of the firm’s marketing and communication efforts. The role requires working closely with all members of our experienced team and business partners to enhance all aspects of marketing services, business development, compliance, and operations. Additionally, responsibilities include measuring the success of our marketing and communications efforts.

Direct responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Implement marketing plans to support business development and client service teams, measure their effectiveness, and make adjustments in response to changing business and marketing strategies. 
  • Design marketing collateral to build market awareness, generate demand for solutions, enable the business development processes, improve digital presence, and communicate with clients to increase satisfaction/retention. 
  • Draft responses to request for proposals (“RFP”) and create a database of approved content.
  • Work with external marketing partners to create digital content & strategies, including web strategies, email marketing campaigns, blog posts, client communications, and other digital touchpoints. 
  • Organize, own and manage digital assets and campaigns, with a focus on digital marketing materials, strategies, and tactics. 
  • Monitor and analyze competitive landscape. 
  • Plan and organize corporate events. 
  • Actively engage in the business and obtain a detailed understanding of the firm’s operations and processes. 
  • Assist with other firm projects and initiatives as requested. 
  • Maintain a robust local network of industry and media professionals. 
  • Regularly attend industry related events and networking opportunities. 
  • Comply with the firm’s compliance and operational policies and procedures. 
  • Assist with ensuring and testing compliance with the firm’s policies and procedures. 
  • Be a positive team member and proactively contribute to the culture and growth of the firm.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business field 
  • 1-3 years of marketing experience (financial services industry preferred) 
  • Event planning experience 
  • Understanding and knowledge of digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.) 
  • Experience with email marketing strategy development and execution; knowledge of email marketing tools 
  • Experience and comfort with updating web content 
  • Desire and ability to deeply understand clients and develop proactive insight on how to bring new value to them 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, focused on internal and external relationships 
  • Understanding of marketing plan development, and ability to execute on marketing plan(s) tactics and schedules 
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with SEO and social media marketing
