We are currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our marketing team in the Oakbrook Terrace, IL office and provide business‐to‐business marketing support in a professional services environment. This position will work within the marketing team managing a variety of projects. This position will work on their day‐to‐day responsibilities with support and mentorship from a variety of Prairie professionals.

What will you be doing?

  • Create news releases for new hires, transaction announcements, company awards and other news 
  • Media outlet research and distribution for news releases 
  • Media outlet research for potential thought leadership submissions 
  • Creating and formatting firm newsletters and articles 
  • Proofing and editing of marketing communications 
  • Post transaction marketing support 
  • Conference, event and webinar support including: shipping and handling of conference materials, local and regional event logistics (in-person presence for local events), presentation conversion and data logging of registrants 
  • Managing Salesforce data entry and updates

What is Required?

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing or Communications and at least one year of marketing experience 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively work with professionals at all levels of the organization (writing example will be requested as part of interview process) 
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized 
  • Ability to successfully work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Publisher, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; InDesign experience preferred 
  • Demonstrated success prioritizing tasks, working on multiple assignments and managing tight timelines in a team environment 
  • Public relations experience is preferred 
  • Able to take initiative and possess a strong work ethic and personal integrity 
  • Authorized to work in the U.S., without sponsorship, now or in the future
