This position is responsible for the coordination of marketing and communications activities for the Alliance. Works closely with the marketing team members on implementation of marketing plans. Helps coordinate a variety of activities through various channels including events, website, portal, social media, email campaigns, collateral, maintaining open communication with teams and providing structure for teams to stay organized and up to date. Responsible for maintaining the integrity and information in various platforms, which could include CRM, Marketo, SharePoint, Yammer, LinkedIn, Benchmark One, etc. Strong editorial skills are required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Coordinate marketing and communication responsibilities for Alliance:

  • Assists with coordination and implementation of marketing campaigns, internal and external communications for the Alliance in accordance with brand compliance. 
  • Serve as brand ambassador to ensure proper compliance internally and externally for the RSM Alliance, RSM US Alliance and RSM Canada Alliance brand marks. 
  • Facilitates and coordinates interaction with IMC processes for various campaigns and activities. 
  • Maintain editorial calendar and coordinates communication timelines in accordance with overall communication strategy. 
  • Perform a variety of editorial duties, such as writing, storytelling and proofreading for mass communications, articles, collateral, etc. 
  • Handle distribution / ordering of marketing premiums and materials. 
  • Coordinate interviews to develop new content. 
  • Help develop and finalize videos, podcasts, audio casts and other types of interactive thought leadership. 
  • Make modifications to existing materials and websites. 
  • Coordinate the publishing of newsletters, articles, collateral and updates to intranet sites and member portals.

Maintains databases and analytics for marketing and communications purposes:

  • Perform client maintenance in related databases; updating contact data in the respective database from email bounces and other sales and marketing activities. 
  • Manage mailing lists using the firm’s tools. 
  • Compile and evaluate reports for internal stakeholder’s newsletters and communications.

Provides administrative marketing support for a variety of projects:

  • Assembles and coordinates logistics and agendas for member meetings (Marketing Advisory Board meetings, Peer Groups, Roundtables, etc.), tracking responses/attendance, prepare and assemble reports, and providing virtual and/or onsite support at event. 
  • May transcribe notes, take minutes, and prepare meeting summaries from Marketing Advisory Board meetings, Peer Groups, Roundtables, etc. 
  • Prepare initial draft of presentations for a variety of uses. 
  • Update and maintain internal word and PPT templates. 
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors or 2 year degree or pursuing degree.

TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS:

  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Ability to adapt writing style to the intended audience(s) 
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written with diverse audiences. 
  • Ability to operate with a sense of urgency 
  • Ability to learn platforms such as CRM, Marketo, Camtasia and SharePoint.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-2 Year Experience
