Position Details

Marketing Coordinator
Southeast Wisconsin
Dousman, WI

The Marketing Coordinator organizes and creates content to communicate messages about campus programs and services to both external and internal audiences. Content may be in a variety of media, including print, web, social channels, audio/visual, or in-person presentation. This role acts as lead photographer for campus events. This individual track and coordinates all marketing and public relations activities of the organization, and proactively seeks out opportunities for media and community exposure. This person is a resource providing campus support and consultation regarding print or visual projects.

What will I do in this role?

  • Develop and create engaging content for social media. 
  • Maintain brand voice across all channels. 
  • Collaborate with marketing team to create a social media calendar. 
  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages and comments. 
  • Establish and maintain relationships with media contacts. 
  • Proactively identify campus news and events in suitable for press releases and coordinate coverage. 
  • Create and maintain portfolio of media coverage. 
  • Design internal and external communication materials, including brochures, advertisements, newsletters, presentations, flyers, forms, signage, etc. 
  • Maintain and update the Three Pillars website.

What is required in this position?

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. 
  • Proficient writing and editing skills in English, and proper phone etiquette. 
  • Problem solving and organizational skills. 
  • Two years directly related experience in marketing/media/public relations, preferred. 
  • Experience would include in writing, editing, photography, social media management, and graphic design. 
  • Knowledge of Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, MailChimp or similar, web maintenance, and database management.
