POSITION SUMMARY:

The Marketing Coordinator, reporting to the Director of Marketing, supports development and execution of marketing strategies throughout the Veit enterprise by coordinating internal and external communications, providing administrative support to the Marketing, Sales/Business Development teams, and maintaining a uniform approach to branding across the Veit enterprise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages company promotional inventory by monitoring stock levels and ordering new merchandise based on business development and event needs. 
  • Communicates with vendors to design artboards, arrange deliveries, and stay on trends of promotional merchandise or other items. 
  • Facilitates the company apparel store by being the main point of contact, updating inventory, and building promotional campaigns aimed at team members to drive engagement with the platform. 
  • Provides graphic support for internal Veit meetings, events, announcements, presentations, etc.
  • Develops and updates PowerPoint presentations and other marketing collateral for internal or external meetings. 
  • Serves as a brand steward. 
  • Visits jobsites to take progress photos for social media and other marketing collateral. 
  • Assists with management of tradeshows and company events including registration, ordering of booth amenities, shipping, etc. 
  • Provides administrative support to the sales team including mail campaigns, sales meetings, etc. 
  • General marketing support through various administrative and/or clerical tasks. 
  • Partners with the Events Committee to support internal events throughout the year. 
  • Keeps supervisor informed of known actions, written or verbal, which may affect the ability to successfully perform assignments or adversely affect company operation. 
  • Other projects or duties as assigned by management.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Associate degree; two years’ related experience in a marketing, communications, or similar field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Proficient in Adobe Create Suite and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Must clearly communicate directions and information. Must have good interpersonal skills. 
  • Must be a strong team member and possess the ability to continually listen, collaborate, and communicate among colleagues, internal customers, team partners, and exude professionalism. 
  • Ability to respond to shifting priorities in a versatile environment with a can-do attitude. 
  • Ability to exercise a high level of professional judgement and confidentiality. 
  • Meticulous attention to detail and consistency in work product is a must. 
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure without compromising accuracy.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Experience handling custom promotional item orders is desired, but not required. 
  • Professional photography experience is a plus. 
  • Wordpress experience is desired, but not required. 
  • Event coordination is a plus.
