Viterbo University is accepting applications for a Marketing Coordinator This is 12-month, full time, salary position.

The marketing coordinator is a creative, self-driven individual who will craft, manage and track email and print marketing messages for the Enrollment Management division (Undergraduate Admission, Transfer and Adult Admission, and Graduate Admission). The position will work closely with individuals in the Enrollment Management division to implement annual marketing strategies for recruitment purposes. The individual will schedule and track email communications within the CRM to determine the effectiveness of each campaign for the different departments. This individual will also assist the Director of Marketing on other marketing projects, as needed.

Reports to: Director of Marketing

Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage, and track ongoing marketing campaigns elements (email, phone, text, print) for prospective students of Viterbo University through a variety of media types managed by the CRM 
  • Coordinate print and email structure, messaging, design and audience for recruitment purposes 
  • Proofread and edit email marketing messaging and calls to action 
  • Continuously improve marketing strategies through monitoring data on read rates, responses, and other key performance indicators 
  • Work collaboratively with other offices on campus to generate content for the campaigns 
  • Proofread and write other communications as requested by the Director of Marketing 
  • Occasionally assist in other marketing and recruitment initiatives, including but not limited to: CRM workflows, social media, visit events, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field 
  • Two years of experience that includes working with email marketing, campaign creation or graphic design preferred 
  • Excellent writing skills with ability to write across a variety of mediums, including print, email and digital platforms 
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects based on demonstrated need 
  • Capable of analyzing marketing data and making adjustments accordingly 
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with other departments while individually meeting deadlines 
  • Experience with CRM or content management systems preferred 
  • Experience working in higher education, student services, or closely related area a plus
