Founded in 1892, the Wisconsin Bankers Association is the state’s largest financial industry trade association, representing 235 commercial banks and savings institutions and over 21,000 employees. Of the nearly 235 Wisconsin banks, 97 percent are members of the Wisconsin Bankers Association. The Association represents banks of all sizes from banks in rural Wisconsin to the state's largest financial institution in Green Bay.

WBA has three subsidiaries and a public charity which offer cost-effective and quality products for banks.

The Wisconsin Bankers Association (WBA) is looking for a marketing coordinator to support the work of our professional trade association and build lasting connections with members. This person will work as part of the communications team and be responsible for designing, producing, editing, and proofing content and across a variety of mediums. A successful marketing coordinator will bring our brand to life and focus on consistency in order to improve the member experience and increase sales.

Essential Duties:

  • Managing day-to-day marketing efforts for WBA and its subsidiaries
  • Assisting in the formulation of strategies to build lasting digital connections with members 
  • Writing, producing, and editing communications for a variety of digital mediums
  • Promoting conferences, trainings, and events through email marketing
  • Managing WBA’s social media accounts, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube
  • Managing production and sales of the Scenes of Wisconsin Calendar
  • Tracking and reporting internally on marketing performance
  • Serving as liaison to the WBA Marketing Committee and WBA Connect Marketing Peer Group

Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams and the ability to learn how to use new software quickly 
  • Bachelor’s degree Excellent copywriting and copy-editing skills
  • Basic video production and editing skills
  • Works as a team player who embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Creatively uses technology to connect with people and solve problems
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Analytical and data-reporting skills

 In addition, the ideal candidate would have the following attributes:

  •  Professional or working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator/InDesign/Photoshop/Premiere Pro,   Google Analytics, Hubspot, Mailchimp, and WordPress
  •  Interest in Wisconsin’s economy and financial services industry
  •  Familiarity with trade associations and/or the banking industry

Salary range is $45,000-$55,000 depending upon qualifications.  Date of hire benefits available.
