International Dairy Deli Bakery Association (IDDBA) has an immediate need in our Madison, WI office for a Marketing Creative Planner.

As a member of the Marketing and Communications team, you manage design and implementation elements throughout marketing campaigns and channels that communicate the IDDBA story. The team is responsible for developing and managing member and audience communication content to increase loyalty and drive membership while maximizing the user experience.

IDDBA is a nonprofit trade association for food retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers, brokers, distributors, and other industry professionals. Our mission is to expand our leadership role in promoting the growth and development of dairy, deli, and bakery sales in the food industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Create graphics and design marketing collateral pieces to support marketing campaigns
  • Plan marketing campaigns, execution details and performance results with internal stakeholders
  • Track campaign deliverables to insure timely execution
  • Prepare and upload content to association websites
  • Write content, and create attractive PowerPoints, and other presentations as needed
  • Manage communication tools such as community and app platforms that are designed to provide customer communications and resources
  • Provide member, exhibitor and customer assistance as needed
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards
  • Secure, manage and deliver on many deadlines
  • Track, communicate and analyze metrics of current platforms on a regular basis
  • Pull database lists for marketing purposes
  • Develop content/story ideas for news articles, print and e-newsletters, press releases, annual report, and other communications
  • Conduct interviews for regular features throughout IDDBA communication platforms
  • Work with outside vendors as needed
  • Travel (2-4 times per year) to IDDBA meetings or industry events/trade shows to represent the association
  • Administrative assistance as needed

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, public relations, communications, business administration or related field
  • 3-5 years of marketing and project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite and have experience with or willing to learn new applications such as event apps and community platforms
  • CRM database experience
  • Knowledge of Informz or other electronic marketing platform required
  • Ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong project and task management
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus
  • Google Analytics is a plus

Job Type: Full-Time

Workdays/Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

Travel: Approximately 10+ Days of Travel Per Year

Wage: Based upon Qualifications
