Skills & Competencies:
Eastside's Design Coordinator must approach their work through the lens of design thinking. They will use deep listening and creative problem solving as their two strongest allies in their work. Focusing on empathy and asking "why" will ground their work as they create holistic systems and solve business problems. Envisioning the entire ecosystem of Eastside customer touch points while working on even the smallest task will keep their work considered, on brand, and uniquely "us".
Teamwork & Relationships:
Eastside's Design Community Coordinator will report directly to the Eastside Marketing Manager and will reside within the Marketing Department. Working closely with the Marketing team and other stakeholders this person will be a strong brand advocate and will be an instrumental person in solving business challenges rooted in the visual world. Understanding that Eastside serves a diverse community with many different voices is paramount to the inclusive and diverse nature of successful design. Being flexible and adaptable will best suit this candidate for future growth and success. Understanding that the output from this person's role influences and enables the work of many others within our organization is extremely important. Teamwork makes the dreamwork, they say.

- The ability to synthesize complex information

- Self-Motivation
- Previous marketing experience
- Basic understanding of user experience
- Knowledge of the Northeast Minneapolis community
- Passion for food, good design and cooperative business
