Eaton Corporation is currently seeking a Director of Marketing for our Power Reliability Division (PRD). This position will be based in our Waukesha, WI location.

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Sr. Vice President/General Manager (PRD), the Director of Marketing will be responsible for providing overall strategic direction and leadership for the PRD sales and marketing functions (total annual revenue of ≈1$B). You will have the opportunity to lead a team of 6 direct reports, comprising a 160+ employee population. You will partner across the business ensuring sales and innovation strategies are key drivers to the delivery of the organizations strategic plan, and the success of the division.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop the business strategy through market trend analysis including competitive products, regulatory and legislative developments and technological advances.
  • Guide Product Line Managers and the Pricing Leader to successfully execute on keystrategicmarketing initiatives.
  • Build and develop talent within the marketing organization.
  • Co-lead new product introduction (NPI) roadmap and execution.
  • Collaborate with business leadership to develop a sales growth strategy for existing markets and development into new markets.
  • Focus on increasing margins by balancing objectives of growth and profitability through effective product management.
  • Drive development in codes and standards by leading national initiatives and industry relationships.
  • Identify inorganic growth opportunities and adjacent markets for acquisition or partnership and cultivate relationships with identified targets.
  • Champion sales management and agency base collaboration, gathering VOC and NPS data to ensure effective partnership.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution is required, advanced degree preferred. 
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, marketing or related position in the electrical industry, 5+ years of direct people leadership experience 
  • Strong executive level communication capabilities 
  • Proven ability to execute on business strategies to achieve measurable outcomes. 
  • Experience with strategic planning, profit planning, road mapping and ProLaunch. 
  • Experience with price realization and value-based pricing. 
  • Experience guiding sales staff and distributors. 
  • Experience with electronic tools such as Power BI, Cognos, BidManager. 
  • Understanding and experience within the Utility market (Preferred) 
  • Previous Experience in Engineer to Order business (Preferred). 
  • Ability to travel 25% 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $191,250.00 - $280,500.00 a year.
