The Marketing Director will develop a strategic marketing framework to direct all events, sponsorship, public relations, advertising, branding, tourism, merchant/community relations, partnerships, and Guest Services initiatives. Drive programs that result in sales for tenants. Communicate and maintain the standard for the Town Center brand. The ideal candidate will have obtained Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field. Experience in marketing, communications or advertising fields, and proven expertise in the development and management of marketing plans and projects.

  • Produce an annual Marketing Plan with well-defined objectives, strategies, and tactics to reach specific customer constituencies 
  • Effectively manage marketing projects that achieve revenue goals as established by supervisor. 
  • Manage, develop and lead on site sponsorship program. 
  • Develop a comprehensive database of research results and customer demographic information; use to drive marketing strategies. 
  • Prepare and manage an annual marketing budget. 
  • Manage and direct the Guest Services staff and Gift Card Program. 
  • Manage and direct the advertising effort. 
  • Supervise the advertising agency; create and manage innovative and effective advertising and collateral campaigns. 
  • Administer advertising expenditures, placements and cost control measures. 
  • Recommend media placement. 
  • Negotiate media to effectively achieve a substantial ROI. 
  • Manage and direct the public relations effort. 
  • Maintain positive public relations and maximize positive publicity opportunities. 
  • Manage and direct the interactive efforts. 
  • Maintain a strong, interactive website, social media, customer loyalty club. 
  • Maximize opportunities to reach customer constituencies via innovative newsletters, on line contesting, communications, gift guides, on line surveys and other directives. 
  • Manage and direct existing events and creating new traffic driving events which include working some weekends and evenings. 
  • Maintain an open and ongoing line of communication with marketing vendors; ensure there is consistency in representing the brand. 
  • Maintain corporate partnerships/outreach, securing sponsorship and marketing ancillary income streams from corporate partner advertising on the site. 
  • Manage and direct the tourism marketing initiative. 
  • Establish specific strategies and tactics to reach each customer constituency. 
  • Evaluate program success via accountability and tracking measures. 
  • Complete tactics on time with a strong attention to detail. 
  • Manage a strong community outreach initiative. Directives include hosting high profile community events, directing and managing the Olshan Outreach program. 
  • Maintain and encourage strong tenant relationship via on-going communication and interaction, support of tenant events and activities, inclusion in Town Center events where applicable. 
  • Interact with ownership as requested, including presentations as required. Participating in new Olshan Properties Town Center projects as they develop. 
  • Additional responsibilities and tasks as requested.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field. 
  • Experience in marketing, communications or advertising fields. 
  • Proven expertise in the development and management of marketing plans and projects. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well independently.
