Marketing Director

Ideal Builders is committed to providing the best construction experience through strong relationships including open communication, transparency, and trust. We are currently seeking an entrepreneurial minded, relationship focused Marketing Director to join our team. This newly created position will develop, manage, and execute our marketing and business strategies to support our organizational goals. This position will work collaboratively with our internal team, clients, and prospects. 

Your contributions will include:

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining business growth and marketing strategies for all brand, design, and marketing campaigns which increase revenue in key markets. 
  • Ensure marketing strategies, branding, and marketing materials accurately align and reflect the company’s vision, mission, and values. 
  • Coordinates with project teams and clients to celebrate key project milestones and attending events to showcase Ideal Builders’ professional capabilities.
  • Maintains favorable working relationships with the media and social communities. 
  • Direct business growth activities including tracking, reporting, and actively following up on prospecting activities and establishing direct client and competitive alerts. 
  • Manage and maximize our CRM system. 
  • Ensure effective RFP and proposal management to work project work for the company.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related field or equivalent experience required. 
  • Progressive marketing experience is required. 
  • Experience developing and implementing brand and marketing strategies is required.
  • Experience in CRM management is preferred. 
  • Experience in PR is preferred. 
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution of prospecting development, work procurement is preferred. 
  • Ability to report out on results, not activities. 
  • Experience working for a general contractor is preferred. 
  • Experience in RFP management is preferred. 
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies and the ability to apply those principles is required.
  • Knowledge of design and branding; conversion and analytical tools, and various marketing software is required. 
  • Exceptional strategic planning skills and the ability to create implementation plans is required. 
  • Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and business acumen is required. 
  • Excellent communication skills, including listening, writing, and speaking is required. 
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills are required. 
  • Ability to practice a high level of confidentiality is required.
