As the Marketing Director, you will:

  • Manage and oversee activities performed by the Marketing department to achieve census targets throughout the continuum of care
  • Identify, develop and maintain direct referral relationships in designated target markets
  • Supports and motivates Community Relations team to achieve goals and enhance positive organizational reputation and visibility within the community
  • Work with Community Relations team and Admissions to identify marketing opportunities and strategize annual marketing plans
  • Obtains and maintains vendor relationships to achieve marketing needs (graphic design, press releases, etc.)
  • Create routine reports to provide updates to supervisors and the Executive Committee
  • Continually evaluate effectiveness of marketing strategies through reporting and analytics
  • Manage overall communication for employees
  • Provide updates to ensure that the PrairieCare website has current information related to services, clinicians, contact information, etc.
  • Provide support for special projects to the CDO as requested
  • Evening/weekend hours and some travel my be required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications (Master's preferred)
  • Five years of experience with customer service in a health care field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse terminology
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information
  • Courtesy in dealing with the public and individuals within the hospital
  • Basic supervisory and fiscal management skills
  • Ability to exercise sound discretion and judgement and cope with rejection and criticism
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook
