We are seeking a full-time dynamic, highly skilled, and motivated Marketing Director to join our Marketing Team. The Marketing Director’s primary duty is to oversee the entire Marketing department. This position is responsible for creating SRF’s proposal and communications strategy and then planning, coordinating, and directing those efforts.

 Duties

  • Develop and implement a vision that resonates with clients and staff, as well as supports SRF’s goal for growth. 
  • Oversee the production of proposals, company communications, social media, company branding, and marketing plan. 
  • Direct Communications staff in developing innovative, high-impact, and engaging content that highlight SRF’s depth of experience, expertise, and creativity. 
  • Direct staff and departmental resources, including prioritizing tasks and projects. 
  • Build brand awareness and create compelling messages that convey the company’s strengths as differentiators. 
  • Oversee the management of social media and company website content. 
  • Supervise the internal systems’ maintenance for information management related to people and projects (resumes and project sheets), pursuits, and promotional activity. 
  • Provide RFP interview and proposal best practices coaching for technical staff. 
  • Identify and maintain procedures and processes to increase departmental efficiencies. 
  • Recruit, interview, and train team members. 
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance. 
  • Motivate and inspire staff and facilitating personal growth. 
  • Ensure high levels of productivity and work quality are maintained.  

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferred in English, Communications, Marketing, or similar degree. 
  • Prior successful marketing and proposal (RFP) process leadership experience desired; previous experience in an architecture/engineering/professional services firm preferred. 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including prior experience and success in leading Marketing and Communications staff. 
  • Ability to establish and communicate vision and strategy to multiple levels throughout an organization. 
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills. 
  • Highly organized and diligent. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work with various personality styles, management levels, and across geographic locations. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, or other desktop publishing programs (experience with WordPress is a plus). 
  • Experience using various electronic platforms to automate, target and project messaging to broader audiences (e.g., CoSchecule) desired. 
  • Experience in the basics of storytelling and use of visual forms of communications (videos) to communicate messaging (desired).
