Hupy and Abraham,S.C., a personal injury law firm headquartered downtown Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a Marketing Events/Community Coordinator with experience in community outreach and events.

As part of our commitment to employee safety, and in compliance with the OSHA vaccination mandate, we are requiring that all employees be vaccinated against COVID-19.

The Marketing Events/Community Coordinator will build and maintain relationships with individuals and community organizations. This employee will implement community outreach programs, organize events, coordinate staffing, and report performance metrics. This position will also include ordering/maintaining promotional inventory and other administrative task as needed.

Some nights/weekends – offsite community work – setting up and manning booth at events is required.

This is a fast-paced law firm located in downtown Milwaukee. The position will be highly demanding so do not apply unless you are a hard-working go-getter who is willing to dig deep and make a difference on our team!

Responsibilities:

Community Relations 

  • Fielding donation requests 
  • Researching sponsorship requests 
  • Building/maintaining awareness in community 

Events

  • Investigating and scheduling community events 
  • Management of event staffing including working set/up working at events and coordinating with outside talent agencies 
  • Management of promotional event materials 
  • Tracking of post – event performance/metrics 

Other

  • Developing web content related to community events 
  • Ship Pack Mail 
  • Performing administrative duties and other projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, corporate communications, journalism, marketing, or related field. 
  • Prior event experience is required 
  • Must be willing to flex schedule and work in the community at off-site events 
  • Organizational skills with working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets 
  • Excellent writing skills with extreme attention to grammatical detail 
  • Valid Driver’s License 
  • Ability to seldom lift events supplies – 25 to 50 pounds
