Compensation is not provided for internships. Interns are considered volunteers.
Each internship is eligible to earn college credits, requiring the student to work 12-15 hours per week. Priority is given to UWM students.
To receive college credits as a WUWM intern, students should inquire at their school's career services or internship departments. WUWM must have a formal arrangement with the school, and the student must have a faculty sponsor and be majoring in Marketing, Communications (Public Relations, English) or Journalism & Mass Communications.
