Marketing Intelligence Intern

Job Purpose:

Gather, analyze and summarize market and competitive intelligence to support business development, product management, and product marketing teams. Market intelligence to include market data and trends, competitor profiles, competitive products and services and compiling financial and operational metrics for internal use.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Research and document information about competitors, including their products, services, and solution offerings as compared against the SKYGEN USA product portfolio for all lines of business. 
  • Monitor competitive information and deliver reports on competitive news, financials, intelligence, and market positioning to the sales, marketing, and product management teams. 
  • Monitor industry publications and deliver insights to the sales, marketing, and product management teams. 
  • Collaborate with internal financial and operations departments to compile and continuously update financial and operational metrics for internal use, defined by client, line of business, and product/solution.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Level of Education, Licenses, and/or Certificates:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.

Required Level of Experience:

  • None

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skills and a curiosity to find answers to questions. 
  • An energetic and willing attitude to jump in and help where needed. 
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Level of Experience:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • Student with a minimum of two years of college experience.
