Our growing organization is seeking an energetic and detail oriented college student to work in our Wauwatosa office assisting our Marketing and Development initiatives. This role will be integral in assisting with multiple events including our largest event, A-Team Fun Walk (formerly Dylan's Run). This is great resume building experience along with the opportunity to try the non-profit sector while supporting your learning and work experience, oh yes and getting paid!

  • This person will be responsible for setting up events in an online registration platform 
  • Writing and sharing regular communications on programs and events to an audience of over 4,000 individuals and organizations
  • Emailing internal and external partners with program updates
  • Budget tracking
  • Managing multiple aspects of event management including but not limited to signage, premiums, communications, registrations, social media, communication plan and more 
  • Live and breathe the social media space
  • Responsible for ensuring that sequence of duties is followed to meet deadlines for events 
  • Support third-party events and activities as well as in-person programs as needed
  • The boring stuff...including copying, mailing, filing and all that jazz

Seeking student that is pursuing Associates or Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field is preferred, would consider a HS Graduate going to college in Fall.

  1. Must be able to work in our Wauwatosa Office
  2. Solid grammar, editing and proofreading capabilities
  3. Insight into email marketing and communications
  4. Stellar organizational skills along with being computer literate in basic systems
  5. Office Suite and any CRM systems experience is preferred
  6. Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision, in a fast-paced environment
  7. Demonstrates the ability to conduct themselves as a buisness professional
  8. Have a valid Drivers License
  9. Regular access to transportaion (AKA- a vehicle) is needed as this role involves driving to locations, picking up event materials, signage, donations, etc.

Applicants should be pursuing an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or Communications. We offer flexiblility for work hours. This role would be part time M-F. This a PAID internship.
