We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-starting marketing intern to join our franchise locations and execute creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies. Not only will you create marketing materials, you will execute them and report on their impact.

As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our scheduling, management and ownership team in all stages of marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop and expand our business through customer acquisition and retention. You may also complete tasks for another B2B business owned by this group, including direction and mentorship from the Director of Marketing for that business.

This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment. This position exposes you to not only the B2C world, but also franchises and B2B.

  • Learn and execute campaigns from the marketing tools made available by our parent organization 
  • Assist in and/or execute digital, social and web campaigns 
  • Create assets and copy supporting company message, using software to create 
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns, and report on effectiveness 
  • Perform market analysis and research on competition 
  • Develop consumer profiles 
  • Propose marketing concepts to grow the business 
  • Support the marketing and operations teams in daily administrative tasks 
  • Prepare promotional items, such as presentations and flyers 
  • Help distribute marketing materials 
  • Manage, update and use our FRAN Connect and AMP systems 
  • Help organize marketing events 
  • May assist in marketing efforts for other businesses under these locations’ ownership
  • Current enrollment in a BS or Masters Marketing degree or similar at an accredited school 
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive 
  • Solid understanding of different marketing techniques 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office 
  • Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. email marketing, CRM tools, Google Analytics and Ads, Facebook marketing, Instagram, asset design tools, etc.) 
  • InDesign, Photoshop, Premier Pro and/or Audition experience a plus 
  • Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices 
  • Ability to provide own transportation to locations
  • 10 hours per week
  • $12 per hour
