The Marketing Intern is responsible for assisting with a variety of marketing and communications projects including:

  1. Support a variety of writing needs in the department under the supervision of Marketing team members 
  2. Writing articles for the employee newsletter, intranet, and email communication 
  3. Drafting blogs in partnership with Marketing staff and behavioral health experts 
  4. Drafting posts for social media, working closely with Marketing staff 
  5. Assist in scheduling and producing videos for internal and external use 
  6. Support marketing data needs as assigned. 
  7. Works with Marketing Data Management Specialist to complete data entry of new referring provider contacts into referral management database. 
  8. Authenticates referring provider data entered into electronic health record to ensure accuracy and completeness via online search and direct verification. 
  9. Performs data entry of referral activity from past/current electronic health records into referral management database. 
  10. Support Outreach team 
  11. Preparation for meetings with referral partners including compiling collateral packets. 
  12. Preparation for a conference and/or event. If location and schedule allow, attend conference and assist Outreach team. 
  13. Help the Education and Events Lead with planning, execution, and follow up tasks related to continuing education or site events. 
  14. Assist team members as needs arise in order to learn the various aspects of behavioral healthcare marketing. This could include audit of marketing materials and website content to identify needed updates.

  10. Must be able to read and communicate through written, verbal and auditory skills and abilities. 
  11. Must be physically/mentally able to perform job duties as verified by a physical exam by a licensed physician, per post-employment physical.

Education/Training Requirements:

  1. College student, junior or senior preferred, up to graduate student standing; Marketing or Communications major preferred. 
  2. Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access and PowerPoint; some understanding of relational databases desired. 
  3. Must hold a valid driver license, and must be granted insurable status by the Rogers Behavioral Health insurance policy.
