SHINE is seeking a Marketing Intern who will be responsible for managing assigned jobs and/or projects for the SHINE website, SHINE social media, SHINE product assets, and many other related efforts. This team member will work closely with copywriter(s) and other designers to execute printed and digital tactics while maintaining brand consistency on all projects.

  • Develop the visual design, layout and feel of the advertising to be executed in various media
  • Responsible for the timely development and execution of campaigns and projects under the guidance of the creative team
  • Participate in internal client meetings and presentations 
  • Ability to fluidly switch from client to client as needed 
  • Champions and manages creative standards set by SHINE with regard to all ongoing creative work in progress 
  • Remain informed of all industry news, creative trends and general activity 
  • Consult with external teams to gather information about a product/service on a strategy to determine the style and visual expression for the project 
  • Responsible for identifying and selecting training/learning opportunities that will continuously improve your level of creative expertise 
  • May include other duties as assigned
  • In pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, design, communications or related field
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web 
  • Compelling portfolio of work showcasing a wide range of creativity 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines 
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Web (HTML, CSS, CMS, etc.) 
  • Photography skills 
  • Strong time management skills 
  • Excellent eye for detail 
  • High level communication skills Ability to work with a team and collaborate with multiple departments 
  • Passion and enthusiasm for social media 
  • Open-mindedness and willingness to accept constructive feedback

This is a paid internship.
