Marketing Intern

Wimmer Communities is currently seeking a summer Marketing Intern to join our team of talented professionals. Come join us!

Pay:$15-16 / hour

Hours: Part-time, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8 am-3 pm or otherwise agreed upon.

Essential Duties:

• Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g., social media, direct mail, and web) 
• Assist with the setup of new marketing initiatives. 
• Maintain and enhance existing marketing initiatives. 
• Prepare and distribute marketing materials. 
• Help organize the marketing for company-sponsored events. 
• Perform market analysis and research on the competition. 
• Assist with other projects as assigned.

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or associate degree program. Preferably within the marketing field.
• Solid understanding of different marketing techniques. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Good computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and use of web-based services. 
• Familiarity with online applications (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) 
• Quick learner. 
• Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices. 
• Basic understanding of digital imaging and illustration 
• Familiarity with graphic design software (adobe inDesign and Illustrator)
