Marketing Internship

Baker Tilly Investment Advisors has an opportunity for a marketing student to join our team as a part-time intern. A finance major with strong marketing aptitude may also be successful. The candidate selected for this position could work from either our downtown Milwaukee or Madison office.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• PowerPoint presentation development
• Content writing and editing
• Proofreading
• Research
• General administrative tasks

Applicants must be proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communications are required along with an ability to work with a diverse group of professionals and meet tight deadlines. An interest in the financial services industry and experience using InDesign are a plus.

Requirements:

• Student who is pursuing a degree in either Marketing or Finance
• Excellent writing skills
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Enthusiasm to learn new skills and work with all levels of the organization

Demonstrated skills with:

• All Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint (samples are encouraged)
• Problem-solving
• Multitasking and managing tight deadlines

Desired skills:

• Knowledge of the finance industry
• Experience using Adobe InDesign

Compensation will be dependent on experience and/or competency as demonstrated by project samples. The selected candidate must be able to work a minimum of 10-16 hours per week between the hours of 8am and 4:30pm. Candidate may choose to work out of our Madison or Milwaukee office, or a combination of both. This position is not eligible for benefits and will not be reimbursed for travel.
