The Marketing team in Food & Beverage North America is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead the Dairy-Cheese Segment. The dairy segment generates over $300M annual revenue and it is expected to be one of the main sources of growth for the division. This role will contribute to the development and execution of product portfolio strategies in close collaboration with internal partners including Field Sales, Corporate Accounts, Segment Marketing, Finance, RD&E and Supply Chain.

Main Responsibilities:

Develop and execute short term, annual and multi-year strategies to achieve sales and profit targets for the Dairy segment

Develop marketing strategies, customer value propositions, promotional programs and pricing which will meet sales and profit objectives for the portfolio

  • Work closely with Corporate Account and Field Sales teams to develop and implement customer-specific strategies 
  • Participate in ongoing customer interactions that contribute to business insights and results to develop short-term and long-term new product development strategies 
  • Develop innovative solutions and strategies in response to customer needs, competitive offerings and changes in market and business priorities 
  • Lead new product and digital solution launches including target customer selection, value proposition development and pricing, and training and educational tools 
  • Lead a cross-functional team, including development of ongoing business reviews, ensuring alignment to segment priorities, strategy execution, cross functional collaboration and team development

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA, preferably in Marketing 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills; setting vision and strategy, planning, critical thinking, orchestrating cross-functionally, overseeing multiple project elements and proven track record of results 
  • Experience in developing and presenting segment strategies to sales teams and divisional management 
  • Ability to relate to influential people and complex organizational structures; strong interpersonal and relationship building skills 
  • Experience in Dairy Industry in a technical, sales or marketing role 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization 
  • Experience in developing and launching new products/services; digital tool launches a plus 
  • Solid business acumen 
  • Strong problem solving / Analytical Skills 
  • Attention to detail; strong sense of urgency 
  • Experience with wide range of marketing tools, including strategic and tactical product marketing capabilities
