MARKETING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Actively participate in assigned market sectors) and other strategic BD efforts and affectively communicate our value to existing and potential clients through attractive and well-written documentation, sales calls, conferences etc. Accountable to:

  • Manage RFP / RFQ response process 
  • Manage interview preparation process 
  • Manage and participate in the production of sales call presentations 
  • Manage production of collateral packages 
  • Manage proposal document maintenance 
  • Manage lead tracking and communication of results 
  • Manage and participate in market research endeavors as directed 
  • Assist in business development activities through participation / membership in professional organizations (i.e. SMPS, AIA, ILCMA, IML, ILA, SCUP etc) 
  • Participate in Business Development strategic planning

CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

Accountable to:

  • Direct client outreach opportunities such as client surveys, appreciation cards and gifts
  • Direct input and tracking of CRM opportunities and customer and project strategic planning

MEDIA RELATIONS

Accountable to:

  • Manage and execute media relations administration 
  • Manage development of press releases 
  • Manage pitching and development of articles for placement in trade and general publications
  • Maintain contact list of appropriate media contacts 
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with media contacts 
  • Oversee maintenance of “In The News” section of corporate website 
  • Oversee maintenance of press archives

PUBLIC RELATIONS

Accountable to:

  • Manage event planning for marketing-led events 
  • Execute conference attendance and exhibit opportunities 
  • Direct pursuit of staff speaking opportunities at community organization events and client trade conferences 
  • Create, coordinate production of, and mail or electronically distribute client newsletter(s) 
  • Create, coordinate production of, and mail market specific white papers and case studies, as directed 
  • Create and produce direct mail pieces 
  • Coordinate advertisement placement, including artwork production 
  • Assist with recruitment through committee leadership, collateral development and career fair attendance 
  • Manage award submissions including research on programs and deadlines, production, and tracking

MARKETING ADMINISTRATION

Accountable to:

  • Develop and implement systematic project management processes to support consistent quality of external corporate image 
  • Lead weekly marketing coordination meetings 
  • Maintain Outlook shared marketing calendar 
  • Manage maintenance and distribution of marketing reports including: Weekly: Business Development Meeting; Monthly: Management Meeting; Monthly: Marketing studio meeting; Quarterly: Staff Meeting; and Quarterly: Board of Directors meeting; 
  • Direct Quarterly Staff Meeting presentation preparation 
  • Assist Director with the planning of market strategies, resource and budget requirements 
  • Monitor marketing budget, including accurate coding and actual vs. budget expense tracking 
  • Maintain marketing forms, inventories and project (conference / awards / media / photography) schedules

MARKETING RESOURCES

Accountable to:

  • Direct contact database management 
  • Create and maintain appropriate written and graphic collateral materials including: Market sector profiles, project profiles, trade show display, corporate presentations 
  • Business cards and corporate stationery 
  • Create and maintain templates for administrative/project use including memorandum, telephone reports and meeting summaries 
  • Maintain corporate website 
  • Coordinate project photography 
  • Maintain electronic collateral image database

Candidates should have 3+ years marketing experience (AEC industry related a plus), a Bachelor’s degree and a working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office. The candidates should also have good organizational and planning skills, demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy, creative thinking and teamwork, high-level of graphic sensibility and judgment, a positive attitude, proactive, hard-working and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
