Responsibilities:

  • Lead Annual Planning process and strategy development for customer and/or channel responsibilities and ensures connection with 5-year business unit strategic plan 
  • Lead, coach, train and develop two direct reports – an Associate Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Associate to be high performing team members and support delivery of the above goals 
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to achieve stated objectives regarding revenue, profitability, and market share, analyzing marketing programs and adjusting strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness. 
  • Plan strategy linked to growth plan for promotional activities that include print, digital media, event marketing, customer marketing and selling materials. 
  • Reviews analysis of marketing insights on current and new product concepts to recommend future product development. 
  • Provide general marketing support to sales team and facilitates necessary training. 
  • Provide insights on market trends, new business, and marketing promotion impact to business forecast 
  • Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout product lines, channel marketing and events. 
  • Consult with sales and trade on customer trade strategy and growth plans 
  • Lead and/or collaborates with cross functional resources and agencies to execute market programs in areas that may include but are not limited to product development, branding, packaging design, advertising and effective customer/consumer promotions and special events. 
  • Lead development of strategy for portfolio of products including innovation and core product growth 
  • Partner with Director level or above to develop budget as part of overall business unit or functional budget.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of marketing experience in a corporate setting 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or MBA with a Marketing focus preferred 
  • B2B marketing experience in CPG, Food or Food Service industries ideal

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Business-to-business marketing experience 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, setting vision and strategy, planning, leading cross-functional teams and balancing multiple priorities and projects 
  • Detailed level of understanding of the marketing function, marketing tools and methods 
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing across all levels of the organization 
  • High learning agility and ability to coach and mentor others Microsoft Office and Outlook products.
