Marketing Manager, Franchise Development

Job Summary:

The Marketing Manager, Franchise Development is a passionate, B2B relationship marketer who leads the planning, management, implementation and evolution of marketing support for franchise sales to build our brand, engage with key audiences and generate leads across multiple channels -- including social, web, email, paid search and trade media. Forward thinking and focused on results, the Manager measures performance, shares learnings, and continuously optimizes campaigns.


Marketing Planning and Execution

  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns based on organizational goals that are relevant, on brand, speak to our target audience and have a clear call to action. 
  • Leverage data to develop our key themes and topics for our annual content plan, analyze and report on performance, learnings, and actions to be taken as a result of campaigns.
  • Actively manage the paid media budget and plans, evaluate and negotiate advertising and media partner options, solicit rate and audience delivery information from media partners, draft paid media plan with objectives and measures of success. 
  • Actively manage CRM strategy and execution tool and data for the development team.
  • Actively manage Radisson Hotel Group Development presence across channels, including website, social media, and email marketing, delivering key messages and on-brand creative.
  • Initiate creative production by developing the creative brief / creative requests. 
  • Actively manage agency partners in terms of strategy, execution and reporting, including an external partner who manages SEM campaigns. 
  • Manage planning and execution for traditional tactical support such as marketing/sales collateral, direct mail, tradeshows, speaking opportunities, trade media, and internal meetings. 
  • Develop internal tools and training for the Development sales team to expand channel opportunities for lead generation. 
  • Regularly measure and report on key performance indicators. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Analysis, Performance Data and Customer Insight

  • Ensure all projects/activations/campaigns are focused on key metrics of success; engage, grow, monetize. 
  • Share analysis and key takeaways with senior leadership and other cross-functional teams.
  • Leverage internal and external market research to understand and remain focused on our target audiences.


  • 6-10 years brand or business-to-business marketing experience, including hands-on CRM strategy and support. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or communications, master’s degree preferred.
  • Superior verbal, written and presentation skills. Creative and business writing abilities, including editing and proofing. 
  • Capable of prioritizing and executing multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters. 
  • Experience managing budgets. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; a team player who works well with others and enjoys partnering across teams to achieve success for the enterprise. 
  • Must possess a high level of intellectual curiosity that sparks communication, collaboration, and innovation. Must have a willingness to look beyond surface requirements. 
  • Demonstrated initiative with ability to work independently while seeking direction and feedback as needed. 
  • Demonstrated success leading website content strategy, building social communities and CRM development. 
  • Expert in planning, executing, engaging, and reporting on organic and paid social media, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn. 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and launch successful integrated traditional and digital B2B campaigns, including events and tradeshows. 
  • Demonstrated success with reaching revenue goals, budgets and timelines. 
  • Knowledgeable of B2B sales cycles and financial modeling. 
  • High energy and passion for the Travel industry. 
  • Experience within a Franchise organization required, hospitality preferred.
