In this role, you will be charged with development of downstream marketing plans, with the overall responsibility of ensuring the category achieves annual sales and earnings targets.

Day-to-Day Functions:

  • Develop downstream business plans, market strategies, marketing communications, new product launches, and pricing strategies. 
  • Define a value proposition and messaging that is clear, concise, and actionable, as well as supported by compelling materials. 
  • Lead product category management and product launches for the category. 
  • Plan and execute effective external marketing campaigns, with tactics that include tradeshows, webinars, digital activities, etc. 
  • Execute market research and intelligence gathering, including direct customer research as well as interacting with sales, clinical, and service teams to understand market and customer needs. 
  • Engage with industry Key Opinion Leaders. 
  • Help manage Health Systems Requests for Information (RFI) & Requests for Proposal (RFP) for responsible product lines. 
  • Manages the development and implementation of training programs. 
  • Work closely with sales organization to ensure alignment on business strategies and execution plan. 
  • Work closely with their global marketing counterparts to ensure US marketing strategies are synergistic with global initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with other sales regions to gain increased insights and share best practice with other affiliates.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject area is required. Master’s degree preferred. 
  • Minimum 5 years of Marketing experience; at least 2yrs in a medical products setting. 
  • Must have downstream marketing experience in a medical product setting. Prior sales experience is a plus. 
  • Strong ability to collaborate with different functional areas both in United States and worldwide. 
  • Must have exemplary written and presentation skills. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point or equivalent software applications. 
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 30%.
