Advanced Fertility Center of Chicago (AFCC) is looking for an enthusiastic and polished Marketing Manager/Physician Liaison (“Marketing Manager”) who is passionate about (i) building OBGYN referral relationships in Chicago and the surrounding areas; and (ii) coordinating and implementing digital marketing initiatives designed to enhance AFCC’s profile and reputation in the community. The Marketing Manager actively supports and promotes AFCC’s commitment to providing compassionate, comprehensive, state-of-the-art fertility care to all patients. The Marketing Manager co-reports to the Practice Manager and the VP of Marketing. The Marketing Manager is under the ultimate direction of the Practice Director.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify referral sources and maintain and grow physician referrals through on-site visits to OB/GYN offices and networking events. 
  • Support and execute a digital marketing and advertising plan with regard to the overall goals and efforts of the practice. These plans will include multiple digital marketing channels, budgets, forecasts, return on investment projections for each, along with a plan of execution. 
  • Identify and monitor competitor activities and efforts within the area. 
  • Identify, coordinate and attend networking events within the industry. 
  • Collect and develop fresh content for publication on the practice’s website, as well as their social media outlets. 
  • Support established metrics and measures of success for all local marketing efforts, including a metrics dashboard to report outcomes. 
  • Continue to update knowledge of fertility industry to aid in Marketing efforts.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Other duties as assigned, and in keeping with AFCC policies, procedures, compliance, standards of patient care and/or initiatives toward continuous improvement at the individual and organizational level. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing or related field 
  • Demonstrated success with direct-to-consumer marketing in the healthcare environment preferred 
  • Previous experience in the fertility industry and/or interfacing with OB/GYNs preferred 
  • Outgoing personality with superior oral and written communication skills 
  • Self-starter who works independently and as a member of a team, taking initiative and meeting objectives
