Marketing Manager, Specialty Products

Are you a strategic, experienced multi-channel marketing professional with a passion for Biblical special market products and a commitment to making a meaningful impact? We are seeking a Marketing Manager, Specialty Products to join our team. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the Marketing Director to develop and execute key product go-to-market plans through paid and earned media efforts. Your efforts will support our specialty imprint division, Bibles, and Bible app. If you're a hands-on marketer ready to drive awareness and customer demand, we want to hear from you!

You’ll be able to contribute in many ways:

  • Stimulate awareness of and customer demand for our specialty imprint books and other resources through publicity, digital, and traditional paid marketing channels for both the consumer and trade levels. Plus identify cross-promotional synergies among other product lines when possible. 
  • Create awareness of the Bible Apps to help engage trial downloads through publicity, digital, events, and select traditional channels 
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director to develop overarching marketing strategies for assigned product areas 
  • Develop comprehensive marketing plans and, where appropriate, present these to authors, agents, or business partners, all the while managing stakeholder expectations, and guiding collaborative efforts via leveraging various platforms 
  • Lead creative development and execution for a wide range of both earned and paid media outlets including online advertising, social media, emails, videos, websites, press releases, and more 
  • Collaborate with internal departments and outside suppliers to manage multiple projects simultaneously within budgets and timelines 
  • Equip the sales teams with effective tools to promote our products in the trade, supporting conventions and conferences 
  • Conduct competitor analysis and report on go-to-market strategies and product mixes 
  • Provide insights on new product viability and market positioning, collaborating across departments from concept to launch. 
  • Manage marketing budgets


  • Three to five years of experience in Marketing. Publishing industry experience is a plus 
  • College degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field 
  • High level of professionalism, organizational skills, and presentation skills 
  • Practical experience using email, social media, and public relations as marketing tools 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite products and database knowledge and experience 
  • Acknowledgement of and agreement with THM Statement of Faith 
  • Ability to be nimble and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment 
  • Exceptional English written and oral communication skills. Spanish written language skills are a plus. 
  • Highly collaborative team player with excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to curate and analyze data to inform decision-making. 
  • Creative and astute problem-solving abilities and can-do attitude. 
  • Ability and willingness to travel less than 10%.
