BAPI is looking for a Marketing Manager for our main office in Gays Mills, WI. BAPI is a premier sensor manufacturer for HVAC/R, specializing in sensors for temperature, humidity, pressure, wireless and air quality monitoring. We are locally owned, with employees located throughout the continental US, Canada, the UK, and Germany and we serve customers around the globe in over 40 countries. Over the past 25 years, BAPI has forged a place in the HVAC/R industry with our area of expertise focused on advanced sensor technology for HVAC & R applications

Marketing Manager

Position Summary:

The Marketing Manager closely partners with BAPIs senior leadership team to drive BAPI’s established brand in both domestic and international markets.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Initiate, plan and oversee the annual marketing strategy which supports BAPIs overall strategic sales goals, including promoting the growth and development in international markets
  • Design marketing campaigns for social media, email and other marketing platforms, while developing tools to measure performance and achievement of metrics
  • Closely collaborate with Sales and Product Management to develop marketing plans, providing feedback on opportunities to improve each campaign
  • Oversee marketing budget and supply financial forecasts of future marketing needs
  • Lead and develop the marketing team, distributing assignments and coordinating the work activities of others while promoting a productive, collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Oversee and assure established marketing standards are utilized in all company communications and promotions, actively promoting a consistent and positive image of BAPI to the public
  • Closely partner with the senior leadership team to ensure strategic goals and company culture continue to align with the organizational mission, vision and values

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required, Masters Preferred in Marketing, Communications, Business Communications, Business Management or related field or combination of education and experience

General Experiences/Knowledge/Skills:

  • 5-8 years’ experience developing marketing strategies and strategic planning of campaigns
  • 5-8 years of experience managing direct reports and leading cross-functional teams
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively increasing responsibilities in marketing department
  • Demonstrated experience conducting market analysis and providing reports detailing analytic data
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and spoken, with demonstrated ability to communicate in a professional and pleasant manner with colleagues at all levels in an organization, with the media and throughout the industry
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite Software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat) as well as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Intermediate to expert computer skills required
  • Prefer some technical knowledge, HVAC preferred, or ability to interpret common scientific or technical writings
  • Prefer some experience in manufacturing or similar industry
  • Track record of motivating and driving projects and teams effectively to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Passion for staying ahead on leading networking and cloud technologies
  • Demonstrated success in driving product initiatives where outcomes are paramount to the strategic differentiation of the overall business
  • Must possess strong meeting facilitation, interpersonal, ownership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm and cool in a fast-paced, high pressure work environment
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to learn on the job and solve problems
  • Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail, focus, organization and a willingness to work toward defined goals
  • Must be very flexible and supportive of changing requirements
  • Must have experience in making business and technical decisions and understanding the ramifications of each to a decision
