ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Staff management:

  • Promote a culture of high achievement and continuous improvement through goal setting and measurement
  • Provide recommendations on yearly staff development/training plan to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing
  • Monitor, track and document performance and provide feedback to the team, individual and/or Vice President of Sales & Marketing as appropriate

Establish positioning, identify target audiences and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments:

  • Establish marketing goals based on past performance and market forecasts
  • Develop detailed marketing plans which include intended audience, deliverables, execution timeline/strategy and budget allocation for all media channels
  • Establish KPIs for individual marketing initiatives
  • Conceptualize and execute on multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communication and messaging across all channels
  • Develop cost-effective marketing plans for each product or service
  • Communicate regularly with the Senior Leadership Team about marketing programs, strategies, budgets
  • Present ideas and deliverables to internal teams and external vendor partners

Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish:

  • Obtain internal customer feedback from Sales Department and the Senior Management Team on planning initiatives
  • Oversee current marketing offering, including financials by program/initiative, for effectiveness and impact
  • Adjust marketing campaigns/programming/strategies as needed in response to collected data observed effectiveness and traction, or other feedback

Research and analyze customer insights, market and consumer trends, demographics, competitor products, and other relevant information to build successful marketing strategies:

  • Review current trade association subscriptions and additional opportunities to connect (e.g. recurring industry updates, podcasts, association leadership communication to member companies)
  • Participate in additional targeted trade associations based on Marketing Department future state priorities
  • Identify opportunities to stay abreast of new technologies, emerging strategies, and marketing best practices
  • Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversations, and generate more qualified leads

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (continued):

Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies:

  • On a quarterly basis, present Marketing Recap Financials, including traction on KPIs, to the designated review committee
  • Provide Vice President of Sales & Marketing with detailed formal proposals/recommendations on go-to-market strategies and tactics

Oversee and approve the creative development of promotional materials, website content, advertisements, and other marketing related projects:

  • Guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communication including print, digital, and video assets
  • Manage content and updates for customers and internal touch points

Maintain a comprehensive list of press and media contacts who can assist with the marketing of Delkor’s products

Participate in off-site events relevant to job function including trade shows, industry association meetings, networking events, and speaking engagements

Marketing Department process documentation:

  • Document processes and procedures to support succession planning and staff cross-training
  • Create Playbooks where appropriate (e.g. Tradeshow Management, other)

Provide in-depth information to interested customers and the Sales Team upon request.

Build and manage a robust and effective digital marketing program that focuses on lead generation, lead qualification, and brand awareness:

  • Identify and track appropriate KPIs for the digital marketing program

Develop a marketing strategy and action plan per industry sector served by Delkor:

  • Lead company efforts with each industry association
  • Educate industry association members about Delkor products appropriate for their industry
  • Develop lead generation efforts by industry sector
  • Define and track Delkor brand awareness by industry sector

Manage outside vendor contracts that are associated with the Marketing Department.

Perform other tasks or duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Four-year degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in Marketing, Sales, or equivalent packaging knowledge with increased levels of responsibility. 
  • Proven experience developing marketing plans, campaigns, and strategies across different media channels.
  • Strong experience in building and managing a digital marketing program. 
  • Experience in the design and execution of tradeshow management. 
  • HubSpot and WordPress knowledge. 
  • Experience and/or familiarity with the packaging equipment industry and its products/markets. 
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Work, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams.
