Fairchild Equipment, one of the premier materials handling dealerships in the Midwest, has an opening for an experienced Marketing Manager for our Corporate Office in Green Bay, WI. The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the company’s marketing effort through internal and external communications, social media performance, event planning execution, and community involvement. The ideal candidate will be incredibly detail-oriented, organized, have excellent writing and listening skills, solid time management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and vendors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the President of Fairchild Equipment. 
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Search Engine Optimization’s (SEO’s) role in brand development, digital PR, and content marketing as part of Fairchild’s integrated digital marketing approach. 
  • Oversee or directly manage digital marketing channels across PPC, SEO, Display, affiliates and email marketing and social media. 
  • Planning digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising. 
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns. 
  • Look after social media presence across all channels. 
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points. 
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners, as well as the marketing team to improve digital performance. 
  • Developand implement a comprehensive and strategic roadmap for SEO designed to produce sustainable results that maximize search performance. 
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization to execute on-page strategies that support a consistent content theme. 
  • Collaborate with content resources to identify opportunities to create, distribute, and promote web content appropriately among target communities. 
  • Contribute subject-matter expertise to internal and external thought leadership initiatives, including blog posts, lunch & learn sessions, and networking events. 
  • Familiarity with important Google Algorithm and Google AdWords updates. 
  • A basic understanding of important on-page SEO factors that impact a site’s ranking potential, including quality content, keyword focus, URL structure, title tags, meta descriptions, [h] tags, image alt text and anchor text. 
  • A proven ability to combine and analyze data from multiple sources to interpret business performance and drive strategy. 
  • Research market in order to discover new trends and technologies in order to improve website performance. 
  • Develop business cases for marketing programs at the proposal stage and make recommendations on marketing tactics. 
  • Propose and manage marketing research projects to generate consumer insights in support of improved marketing strategy and communications. 
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, driving collaboration with the stakeholders and leveraging the right internal processes. 
  • Organize promotional events at trade shows and other venues, coordinating with our staff to ensure prompt delivery of materials and merchandise. 
  • Understands and communicates with President on developing budgets which includes expenditures, research and development appropriations, return-on-investment and profit-loss projections. 
  • Increase awareness of the Fairchild brand as well as build relationships within the local community. 
  • Create, update and manage vendor agreements. 
  • Administration of Fairchild’s customer success portal, Salesforce. 
  • Maintain inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed. 
  • Ability to take on additional duties and responsibilities as requested by the President.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 10+ years marketing experience preferred. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications field required. 
  • Familiarity with important Google Algorithm and Google AdWords updates. 
  • A basic understanding of important on-page SEO factors that impact a site’s ranking potential, including quality content, keyword focus, URL structure, title tags, meta descriptions, [h] tags, image alt text and anchor text. 
  • A proven ability to combine and analyze data from multiple sources to interpret business performance and drive strategy. 
  • Familiarity with social media and its role in enhancing SEO initiatives, particularly through relationship-building and link curation. 
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, social media marketing applications (ex. – Buffer, HootSuite, Tweetdeck) and leading content management systems (ex. – WordPress, Shopify). 
  • Exceptional working knowledge of Excel and other data analysis and business intelligence tools, as well as other MS Office and Google products. 
  • Familiarity with reporting and opportunity analysis tools such as Ahrefs, Moz, SEMRush, Buzzsumo, and Screaming Frog. 
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels such as PPC, SEO, Social Media Display and affiliate marketing channels. 
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CCS development and constraints. 
  • Efficient analytical and organizational skills. 
  • A tireless work ethic and passion for digital marketing. 
  • Excellent understanding of web design and web analysis 
  • Must have experience with the software Salesforce. 
  • Expert written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Expert understanding of spreadsheet, databases and financial analysis. 
  • Flexible schedule, some travel in addition to some evenings and weekends.
